Working to help you deal with the pain
Pain is a barrier to your relationship with the world, limiting you from participating boundlessly in life, whether physical, mental, or emotional. It makes you sit back and watch while others enjoy. Pain can make it harder to get up in the morning. It can result in needing accommodation or more breaks at work. It can diminish your motivation and enthusiasm for life. It can make you turn to medication or endless therapy.
While Jordana’s primary job is to obtain compensation, it can be much broader, much more potent. With the tools she has in the litigation process, she strives to get you the diagnosis to best understand your predicament along with information to help you get back on track that you might not get from the medical system. It can be the starting point for career exploration. It can be towards life and financial planning. Jordana is committed to her client relationships and is always available for a phone call or meeting as needed. She fully supervises all aspects of each case.
Education
Jordana attended UBC for undergrad and law school. She entered law school early due to her high level of achievement in the undergraduate program. Jordana graduated in 2008 and was called to the Bar in 2009.
Leadership and Memberships
Outside of her practice, Jordana has been involved in a number of community organizations. As founder and president of House of Citizens Society, Jordana is developing an online platform to facilitate citizen involvement in proposed legislation. Previously, she served as a board director for the Magdalene Recovery Society, which provided outreach services to sex-trade workers in Vancouver. She is a current board director for the Green Party of Vancouver and a past director of the Green Party of British Columbia.
In her spare time, Jordana plays piano, practices yoga and meditation and studies permaculture and organic gardening.
Jordana is a member of Mensa Canada, International High IQ Society, Golden Key International Honour Society and Business Networking International (BNI).
